So there are continuing sanctions against Assange. For instance he is explicitly forbidden from submitting any FOI request to the US government. I wonder why? Unfortunately the situation is that Assange, a reporter, has served time for one count under the Espionage Act. This is not a good precedent from a free press point of view. The only way now to reverse this is for a US president to pardon Assange. Julian and Stella have done the hard yards to support the free press. It is now up to the rest of us to make sure that he receives the pardon!
